ARTICLE 1 COLLECTION AND USE OF PERSONAL DATA FROM CUSTOMERS, SUPPLIERS AND OTHER CONTRACTORS

We would like to draw your attention to the fact that we will collect and use the personal data you provide because this is necessary in order to conclude and execute any agreement with you. This applies both to our (potential) customers and to parties from whom we purchase goods and/or services.

If you are a customer or potential customer of ours, we will use your data to be able to send you a quotation, to determine the specifications or requirements for a particular item or service, to deliver items or perform work for you, to invoice you and to communicate with you smoothly and efficiently about the implementation aspects of the agreement.

If you are a (potential) supplier or other contractor, your personal data are also necessary for the conclusion and execution of the agreement. In the case of purchasing, this is necessary to be able to let you know what specifications or wishes we have for a certain product or service, to be able to send you a request for a quotation or place an order with you, to pay your invoices and to be able to communicate with you smoothly and efficiently about other aspects of the agreement.

You are not required to provide us with your personal data. However, if you do not provide us with any or sufficient personal data, we may not be able to carry out the aforementioned work.

ARTICLE 2 COLLECTION, USE AND CARE OF PERSONAL DATA FROM BUSINESS RELATIONS

We would like to draw your attention to the fact that we will collect and use the personal data you provide to us because you have given us your permission to do so or because this is necessary for the protection of our legitimate interests. We process the following data: name, address and contact details.

If you are a relation of ours, we use your data to be able to contact you for purposes that are in the interest of our company. This includes, for example, discussing a possible cooperation, providing and obtaining information and maintaining our network.

You are not obliged to provide us with your personal data. If you do not provide us with any or sufficient personal data, however, it is possible that we will not be able to carry out the aforementioned purposes. Your data will be removed one year after the last contact.

ARTICLE 3 TRANSFER TO THIRD PARTIES

In connection with the execution of any agreement with you, it is possible that we will have to provide your personal data to parties who supply parts, materials and products to us or who perform work on our behalf. We also make use of external server space for the storage of (parts of) our sales and purchase administration and our contact database. Your personal data are part of this. Your personal data are therefore provided to our server provider. Furthermore, we use Microsoft Office and the corresponding storage facilities for e-mails and other files. Finally, because we use a newsletter mailing service, your personal data is passed on to the provider of this service.

ARTICLE 4 DIRECT MARKETING

If you regularly order from us, we will save and use the personal data you provide to personally inform you in the future by e-mail about our existing and new products and services and possibly make you an offer for them. We have a legitimate interest in using your personal data for this purpose, namely to market our products and services. Each time we send you an advertising mailing, you have the option of letting us know that you no longer wish to receive it. Please see the unsubscribe link at the bottom of each mailing.
If you are a one-time customer with us, we will only send you advertising messages if you have given us your prior consent to do so.

ARTICLE 5 RETENTION PERIOD PERSONAL DATA

If you have requested a quotation from us but you have not become a customer, we will delete your data no later than one year after our last contact. Likewise, if we have received a quotation from you, but you have not become a customer of ours, your personal data will be removed no later than one year after our last contact. If you have become a customer of ours or we of yours, we will keep your personal data for a period of seven years after the end of the financial year in which the agreement with you was fully executed. The period of seven years corresponds to the period during which we are obliged to keep our records for the Tax Authorities. At the end of this period we will remove your personal data.

ARTICLE 6 COOKIES

Cookies are small text files that are placed on your computer, tablet or smartphone when you visit our website. In these text files information is stored that can be recognized by the website on a later visit.

Our website uses tracking cookies if you have given us permission to do so. We do this to collect information about your internet behaviour so that we can make you targeted offers for products or services. You may withdraw your permission at any time. Your data will be stored for a maximum of one year.

We also place functional cookies. We do this to make the use of our website easier. For example, to save products in your shopping cart or to remember your login details during your visit.

Using analytical cookies we can see which pages are visited and what is clicked within our website. For this we use Google Analytics. The information that Google collects in this way is anonymized as much as possible.

ARTICLE 7 YOUR RIGHTS

You have the right to ask us to inspect your own personal data. If there is reason to do so, you can also ask us to supplement your personal data or to amend any inaccuracies. In addition, you have the right to ask for your personal data to be deleted or to restrict the use of your personal data. You can also object to our collection and use of your data or lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Authority.
